Thanks for the suggestions. I keep him pretty well trimmed but I'll check. The vet said to position him straight and flat on his tummy, but Paris is going to move and change his position on his own. I am baffled but please to announce that he slept very well last night only waking once and not for a long wheezing fit. He still has labored breathing and some crackling. I am keeping close tabs on him. Keep up the prayers and good thoughts.....

I had to have Paris put to sleep this morning. I am grief stricken.

I'm so sorry. There is nothing I can say to give you any comfort at this point. I am glad you were with him though. You did your very best for this little guy and I'm sure he appreciated you so much.

I am so so sorry to hear the news. My heart is broken for you. Paris was a lucky lucky boy to have you as a mommy! Your complete, unconditional, love and devotion to him will forever stay in my memory. (((HUGS))) I share some of your grief and hope I can lift the burden from your heart a tiny bit.
