My deepest sympathy on the loss of your friend and companion Tiki. He was quite a treasure and a blessing to your life. I loved your tributes to him and smiled through my tears picturing him howling with joy. He was also blessed to have you and your husband as guardians. He is your guardian angel now.

I Haven’t Left At All
I saw you gently weeping as you looked through photographs
You paused for just a moment at one that made you laugh.
But as you turned more pages the tears began to flow
You whispered that you missed me but I want you to know;
I softly licked those stinging tears that down your cheeks did fall
I want to help you understand I haven’t left at all.
On those days that you are overcome with sorrow, pain and grief
I rest my head upon your leg to offer some relief.
When you take our walking path I’ve seen you turn around
Because I know you surely heard my paws upon the ground.
At night while you are sleeping I snuggle at your side
You stroke my fur as you touch that place where I used to lie.
You said it’s just your heart playing tricks upon your mind
But rest assured I’m really there, my spirit’s left behind.
I know your heart is hurting; it’s like an open sore
You think my life has ended and you won’t see me anymore.
But for those of us bound tight by love, death is not the curtain call;
It’s really the eternal beginning that waits for us all

That is beautiful. I sit here reading this and I am in tears remembering my last little furbaby that I lost 3 years ago. I still miss her so much.
I wish the OP were still with Yorkie Talk so she too could enjoy your post.

Just reading through this thread Im so sorry for your loss and that you have been treated so poorly but we are a good bunch 99% of us love yt and each other I hope you stick around to get to know and love us too!

I cried as I read this touching tribute. It made me think of our 1st yorkie Baby. My husband's and my hearts were broken in pieces when she had to leave us.Thank you for posting it.

I sent that poem to my mom in an e-mail and told her I am not trying to make you cry but I thought this poem was really touching. Well she texted me and told me thanks, i'm crying. Kind of figured she would anyways but this poem was too sweet not to forward on. She had just put down her scottish terrier a few weeks ago and it's been really hard on all of us.

I just want to say I am so sorry for your loss. It was his time, and God needed him up in heaven. Even thought he's not with you anymore, I'm sure his spirit is as happy as can be as he runs and plays at Rainbow Bridge.

I tried to send you a PM but I see you have decided not to recieve them. I just want to tell you I hope you decide to come back and stick around. There are so many people here who care and would love to have you in our community. I'm sure we all understand if you are taking a break after the way this thread turned, but I hope you give us another chance.

I want you to know something no matter where you go be it R/L or online there will always be someone or some that doubt or just have to make a pain of themselves. If something happens to one of theirs they want support but when something happens to someone else even if it seems out of the norm. People need to stop judging and think of the person behind the screen and think about thier pain.

I am sorry some have added to yours. You have no idea how many times I have thought of leaving here. But then there are times I have gotten very good advice,A word of comfort also a new friend. Many vacation destinations around the world look wonderful to the vacationer but behind all the beauty is desperate poverty. The people who wait on vacationers in the fancy hotels and spas go home to their hut at night. If you look at that ABC footage you see the way the natives really live with their animals.

About 8yrs ago I had an opertunity to visit Belize and have a tour by someone that lived there. I was depressing to see how some lived and amazing that alot of these people still have such a great outlook on life.

I know that where the OP lives may not have the wonderful care that we have here in the states both for us and our sweet furbabies.
