| ![]() Organic baby food sometimes is tempting. It's easy to get in case you don't have chicken handy to cook for her. I'm sure she is very confused about why she is now in a strange place and food is not the first thing on her mind. It's going to take her a while to readjust herself. Hopefully she will enjoy her new life with you a few weeks from now. When my little one did not want to eat her dog food I would put some shredded cheese on it and she loved that. You don't want to give her too many different things. Your new little one sure is a pretty girl. Hope she adjusts to her new life as quickly as possible. |

| ![]() The poor thing is no doubt scared half out of her little mind as even though her previous owners did not care for her very well, I'm sure that poor little dog loved them very much & has no idea what just hit her. I would deff get her to the vet ASAP for a health check & just give her some time to settle in. She is a cutie & with some love & good food I'm sure her coat will get healthier in time. |

| ![]() When I went to our new vet, he told me that he has a Yorkie, and if his wife goes out of town, the little booger goes on a 4 day food strike. He said not to support a dog not eating and contacting a vet, but there are days that you can "Lead the Yorkie to the bowl, but you can't make him eat." ![]() Stubborn little boogers.

It really is not unusual for a rehome/rescue to behave this way. Truthfully, her personality will beginto grow over the next several weeks. ![]() http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ll-rescue.html

| ![]() First of all, congrats on your new baby, she's a cutie. Probably a very scared cutie, but still, as everyone has said, a little time and she will come around, when Sprocket first came to us all he did was cry, they don't understand, even though their old home wasn't the best, it was all they knew. One thing that worked for us, and your baby doesn't look too large, is the sling, make up a sling, just like the kind you would have for a reg baby, we used an old sheet and keep her close to you, so she can feel your heart beat, your warmth, YOU. That and keep her on a regular potty schedule, she drinks water, sees the vet. The rest will come, she will not starve herself. Though I personally am a chicken when it comes to the "who blinks first" game and give in to anything to make Sprocket eat, ie: it was the chicken baby food. ![]() ![]()

I bought her a crate and a bed all of her own she seems to like it and know that crate is just hers. She seems to be getting better if my little boy is some where she is right there It looks like they will be good friends. Yogi seems like he is showing her the ropes of the house its pretty cute I swear he gave her a tour and everything. ![]()

| ![]() There are youtubes free that shows you how to make a puppy sling. So glad that she is eating and glad that she has Yogi to show her that you are all ok people. Hopefully in a couple more weeks she will completely forget the other people and the other life and enjoy what you have to offer. |
