| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Uni is so exotic! Not surprised she LOVES a lot of different foods. I can understand bean sprouts; they are packed with nutrition, but the white parts of lettuce? Hardly any nutrition in lettuce, especially the white part. Dogs usually value something that’s giving them nutrition.

| Cooked and in moderation!! -- that's my advice. Cody loves carrots. When he was about a little under a year old, we had a neighborhood cocktail party. Someone brought a relish tray. Cody was the cute little puppy that everyone loved to sneak a treat -- raw baby carrots. He loved them and never hesitated to appreciate the treat. Apparently a lot of folks gave Cody raw baby carrots because we were up a couple times that night to take care of the carrots. Poor Cody couldn't sleep for "having to go". Now he gets cooked carrots AND in moderation-- he still loves them.

| Hi, my little yorkie Zsa Zsa just LOVES them! We like to steam or blanch them. She sits on the floor on the kitchen and waits for them. She loves 'em. We do the same with Sweet Potatos too. Best part is they're healthy! If you give them the ones in the can you need to be sure they are "unsalted". they can eat broccoli, green beans and peas too! |

| I've always thought avocados were on the toxic list.

Here's the dog food with Avocados. AvoDerm® Premium Foods and Treats for Dogs and Puppies. I don't recommend it!
