I really agree with that, I think they want you to trust them, but it does the opposite for me. I don't think we should use our religion to help sell things.

It dont see anything wrong with it really. They do it to let people know they are because Christians like to support other Christians. I dont see anything wrong with that its just giving info but thats me

Yeah I don't think they are saying your dogs are mutts, mind you unless you have a pedigree and papers they could have something way back in their lines.

But any CROSS of ANY breeds even if both parents are purebred result in a mutt. Lots of times when the parents are purebred they sell the pups as Designer Dogs.

Ex: Purebred Maltese with a Purebred Yorkie.... you get a Morkie. That is a mutt.

But I don't think they were saying all the dogs on that site are mutts, just stating the fact that they do breed mixed dogs as well as "pure" I'm glad you love your two dogs no matter what and that they're healthy, AND they you won't be buying from this breeder

Well, I know we aren't supposed to talk of religion, so I can't say as much as I'd like, but I think that Jesus and the moneychanger’s story is a clear example that He does not like people using religion to make money. It’s about the only time Jesus really got angry. I mean he was all about forgiving and turning the other cheek, but this really upset him and he kicked over the tables. Not all Christians think alike on this matter, but I’m trying to explain to you, why I think it’s wrong.

Yes but there is also that you cant even say Im a christian without someone thinking there is some devious meaning behind it. What if she isnt using it as a selling tool but just using it to let her know something personal about her. What I was trying to say is if she was a reputable breeder I would not hold it against her because she let it be known she is a Christian

WV Yorkies is a lady here in WV who is a member here on YT and she has beautiful pups!

I agree with what your saying. I do know for a fact that she's very involved in her church. She seems like a wonderful person. I have been to her house several times before deciding to buy from her. I've seen her adult parents and puppies. That was 3 yrs ago.

That being said, I will still not be getting my Yorkie from her because although I think she's a good person, she's not the best breeder for me!

I don't think I think there is something devious if a person tells me they are a Christian, but I guess that's personal information and I should begin to know someone on a personal level before that information comes out. Otherwise, I'm suspicious of them.

I wasnt speaking of you personally just generally in our society. I see why someone may want to know someone personally before they get that info it is just not how I am

I guess I’m pretty hardnosed about it. Being a Christian has nothing to do with being a good breeder, we’ve all heard of the Amish puppy mills in Pennsylvania and the Amish are Christians. Lol, I don’t even really like pictures of the breeder’s children holding the puppies, it smacks of marketing and I don’t think it’s ethical. The information given should be about the dogs, and if the breeder wants to give out personal information it should be about her involvement with the dogs. But I realize these are just opinions and mine isn't the only one that is valid.

I think if it were a reputable breeder stating she was Christian I would have no qualms about it. But this person who breeds mixed breeds and sells to anyone... shouts loud and clear to me why she has that on there.
