omgosh that made me laugh so hard! Mine had threatened the same thing, but we stayed together for a few years after I had gotten the poodle. We're divorced now and my poodle lives at his house because the poodle and my son had formed a really tight bond while my son was growing up (he's 11 now and was 2 when I got the poodle). Funny thing is, though, is that my ex-husband purchased a second pet poodle a couple months before I moved out XD

Honestly, I think he was. We've been separated for 5 years and actually divorced for 1 1/2 years. To this day, he keeps trying to get me back. I can't get over that after all these years, he still hopes that we're going to get back together LOL

He's not ready to go til Christmas or the week before. Gives me time to work on my husband!

I think you should wait because you stilh have concerns. Also Christmas time is not a good time to bring a new pup in the home because of the hustle bustle that is why breeders who are reputable dont sell them then

He is cute and I know you are really anxious to get a puppy but there are alot of cute pups and if you just look around you may find there is a totally different look that you would really like to have. Before I purchased a pup I really looked on the internet at the different looks of the pups so I knew what I wanted. Now I dont want to put all emphasis on looks because health is more important but looks are important to owners too

When we were looking for a new puppy my daughter fell in love with one. Of course that is so easy to do. I had to tell her no. It was just not the right puppy for us. We waited until all of our criterea were met. We found Jessie, and she is perfect. It was really hard to tell Sydney no, and see her crying. But even she now realizes it was for the best.

I am not saying you should not, but keep in mind the reasons you wanted to wait in the first place.
