Senior Yorkie Talker | May we welcome..... FUDGE!!!! After losing our jack russel/scottie dog Guinness about two weeks ago, my mum has been missing having her own little dog to cuddle and follow her around (Millie prefers to cutch up in her bed at the moment) so i started looking on Preloved for a yorkie/puppy for her for after christmas when an advert kept popping up for a 2 year old yorkie female for rehoming. They were charging a fee of £150 so i text the ad holder for more info and we decided to travel up the next day (sunday just gone) We travelled a 200 mile round trip to see her and when we got there, we couldnt believe our eyes! We went to the house that was owned by two young girls (about my age 20/21 -ish) it was dirty and had junk every where and full of kids. there were also 3 yorkies other in crates barking and Fudge was loose running around and she just flopped on her back when she saw us and ran and hid behind a safety gate. My family and i just looked at each other and we decided we HAD to get Fudge out of there. She was dirty and greasey and i don think she had EVER been brushed/bathed or clipped and was so skinny! She had no lead, collar, bed or toys with her either. She doesn't even know how to play. When we got her home, she was so shy and just wanted to cuddle on mine and my mums lap so we took her straight for a bath and when she came back down she was a completely different dog!! she was SOOOO HAPPY! we got her bathed and clipped at the groomers yesterday and she looks amazing. Shes so happy now and i think she realises how lucky she is that we got her out of that place. The only problem is that we cant get her to eat any thing apart from bits of fresh chicken if we pretend we are feeding her from our plate at the table (yes VERY bad manners but its the only way she will eat) and she dosent seem to pee much. She had NEVER been for a walk judging by her reaction when we take her out (like us seeing everything for the first time and cant get enough of walkies!!) he dosent know any commands, isnt toilet trained and she has been bred from. We will be working our hardest ASAP to sort all these things out and she is going to the vet for a check this after noon. She's SOOOOOO loving though and is such a happy little girl now and my mum loves her "christmas present" even more now as shes had a bad past and shes settling and getting on with our other dogs well and we are proud to say that she is ours and at her forever home, no matter how many problems she has needing to be sorted out We love our happy ever after rescued girl!! Heres some pics of her before and after her groom (scruffy pic is after first bath) and with my yorkie Millie

| Please your hearts for rescuing poor little Fudge. What a wonderful thing you did. I just cannot understand people that treat dogs like this. It is so sad & SO unnecessary. Wishing you all the best of everything. I bet Fudge will turn into the best dog ever & what a looker!

Senior Yorkie Talker | i know its really soon after losing Guinness but we couldnt leave her there. She needed us. Shes got so many characteristics of Guinness its unbelieveable, i think we were meant to have her and i think it was fate that i kept seeing her advert as i called a few other ad's but either couldnt get through or they had been rehomed where as with Fudge everything was straight forward. Its so sad that she doesnt even know how to play but we are trying to get her to understand that its fun and normal. She is an amazingly happy and loving little girl that has really come out of her skin since bringing her home. Mum feels guilty that we got another dog so soon after Guinness but as i told her "you can NEVER replace, its just ADDING to the family" This little pup has many happy years ahead of her with us and will have to get used to being spoilt rotten!! I think all of our christmas wishes have been answered by her coming home with us, i think she thinks the same

| Such cuties! They look absolutely adorable together! I am so glad you found each other. We got Gidget fairly soon after our beloved Cricket passed. Some things are just meant to be!

Some lady gave him away to someone else who's sellin him for $80. He needs groomed so badly, neutered and shots. I pray that this will work out for me. My DH doesn't understand how I feel though. Bless you for adopting her!
