| Why does he do this with his mouth? Sometimes after Rocco has a "kiss"-fest with my daughter or me, his lips quiver and his teeth chatter when he stops or takes a break. It's THE funniest thing - he looks like he's talking. Also, while he's kissing our entire face, he starts to go slower and slower...then just stops, and starts moving his lips. He will do this for a few seconds then go on about his business. Funny thing is, he never does it with my DH or DS. Do any of yours do this? And do you know why?

| That's certainly a new one on me. Bailey doesn't chatter or quiver like that. Perhaps someone will come along who has experienced something similar. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | LOL -- Pfeiffer does this too ! She will sometimes have the lower-jaw-quiver when she's anticipating something, or excited. She always has the mouth quiver as I'm fixing their meals. It's super cute...and just one of her quirks.

| Uni chatters her teeth when we take away something from her that's she's been happily chewing on, or if she has something she's not supposed to have. It's so funny, like when a human's lip quivers when they're about to cry.

| Oh, my goodness! Muffin used to do that, too. Her little bottom lip would quiver. I had forgotten about it until I read your thread.

| Levi does this too, and it's one of the million little things he does that just make me wanna squeeze him! His little tongue and bottom lip quiver like crazy when he's excited - like when I am holding a good toy or treat, or about to feed him, or if I'm holding his leash. He just gets SO excited and it's the most adorable, precious thing ever. |

| None of my yorkies do it, but I have seen it many times with Lilly, my Son's Jack Russell, when she smells one of my girls bottom when they come inside from pottying. Romeo did the same thing the other day when he was done sniffing the floor where someone tracked something in on there shoes. I have no idea what it means.

| That's what I'll ride with. He just LOVES us so much he cannot control his excitement! Indeed, he is smart (if I do say so myself). I swear he understands complete sentences. It's uncanny, really. And those eyes...they speak a thousand words!!!
