| Need advice GROOMERS I'm going to bath Zhoie and give her a really short allover trim for you upcoming surgery. I believe it will be much more comfortable for her in convaslecing weeks to come. But, I'm not sure how to cut off her topknot hair. Should I just hold it up and snipe. Come it all forward and cut. Anyone? I want her head hair short, no way am I going to try to put a topknot in with neck surgery.

| I don't know how other groomers do it, but my old and mostest favoritest groomer in the world who moved away a few years ago comes back a few times a year showed me how she does it. She combs it all forward from the ears and then cuts it.

| That sounds easy enough. But don't lift it up, right? Just cut straight across the bang area I would assume.

| Gidget has a cotton coat. I cut her "bangs" in the front. They sort of resemble eyebrows. Then I sort of blend that back into the longer hair. I'll include some pics. Hope this helps. Poor Zhoie having a surgery coming up. We will be praying for her. I tried to get more to load. I don't know what I am doing wrong. You can go to my album to see more pics - sorry.

| That is the way she showed me. You can cut it very short that way or cut longer out toward the nose. That is what she told me. And, yeah, you can cut the bangs to make little eyebrows after you do that, if it is still too long around the eye area. You'll probably want to cut it very short, because it will grow a lot while she is recuperating.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I cut Nikki's top knot off awhile ago and I just held it up and cut it and it looked a little weird, almost like a bowl cut. So I would do it the way Yorkieusa does. I am keeping Zhoie in my prayers for a successful surgery.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | yup, comb forward and then cut straight across from the outside corner of one eye to the outside corner of the other. When i do it I only comb about 1/2 of hair behind the eyes forward, not the whole top of the head, and then I blend it all in with thinning shears. Or, if you have clippers and a set of comb attachments you can take a long comb (over 1 in) and run that over her head from front to back. this way it will all be even.
