| Need some advice Sammy is going on 2 next week - I've had him since he was 6 months old and he was wonderfully trained - on the pee pad which I continued - then he discovered outside and he loves to be outside - BUT now there is a problem - he was peeing on the pad great while I was at work and going outside when I was home for at least the last year - 2 months ago he decided to start peeing about 1 foot off the pee pad while I am at work. This is not good - any suggestions - I never catch him doing it because he only does it while I am at work. Hope you can help me on this. (Also, he has increased his barking abilities and if I put the leash on him around the house it helps but I feel badly doing that - any suggestions on that?) |

| Hmmmm... Mine "miss" their pad sometimes, bit it's never on purpose.... Maybe put 2 pads together for awhile where he is currently going... Also, make sure you are cleaning you floor/carpet with something like natures miracle to eliminate the potty odor...

| Something new is going on. Maybe he needs more exercise. Barking? Go to the Training section and check out some threads or just click on this link. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...h-barking.html

| Has he been lifting his leg or just sqatting to wee? Some dogs take longer before they lift, some never do, and some do it early. Can it be maybe he has learned how to do this and is missing the pad for that reason? Also this might be the reason for more barking. It might be he's growing up? Maybe a female in your vicinity in heat? Just a thought. |
