| I have the little round tipped scissors that I trim Gracie's face with. I just trim the top of her nose to right where the corner of the eyes are. Then I do a diagonal cut at the inner corner of the eyes to get that pesky hair out of the way. Holding the chin hair in one hand will give you control over the head so your pup is not turning it's head all over while you are attempting this task. Wahl sells a little cordless trimmer that is perfect for this type of thing. It is on sale right now at wag.com for about $17.00. You may be able to find a discount coupon if you google for one as well. I got a 20% of coupon by email so I'm getting it. It did sell for $30.00 and I have had some good reviews of it. I think it will make trimming her feet and butt a bit easier. |

| Well, I found the round tip sissors at walmart and just bought the ones in the pet section because they were actually cheaper than in the baby section. Anyhow, I also found a small shaver thing in the pet section that says for small/toy breeds and it just so happened to be on sale! It was also cheaper than the ones in the shaving section. I guess it was my lucky day!! But, being in the pet section I also bought 2 sweaters and a new leash and a toy! Spent same amount of money I would have if I would have stayed out of the pet section! Anyhow, I used the sissors this morning after bath time and they worked great! I was still to chicken to use the shaver, but, I am going to have my groomer show me how to use it when i go there (I am such a visual person) then I think we will be good to go! Thanks everyone!! |
