| Do you walk your yorkie in the rain? Or let them be outside for more than just potty business? I throw a sweater & coat on Princess in the winter & take her out in the snow to play but always avoid taking her out in the rain. I wanted to take her downtown to walk & get out of the house tomorrow but it's forecast to rain (big surprise). If she's in her new double fleece will she be ok, or even with a t-shirt underneath? I don't have any boots for her yet, but I know she'd love to go for a good walk some place new.

| We just go out for potty breaks in the rain, because I hate walking in the rain. I'll still take him places with me when it rains, though. Is there anywhere kind of indoors-y you could take her? Usually, when I need to take him somewhere when it's raining, I'll put him in his bag or carry him. Sorry the rain is ruining your plans!

| I don't intentionally go out in the rain, but we've been caught in the rain during a few walks. It's not so bad if you're prepared for it, but getting drenched when you're not isn't such fun. Not to mention the chills that set in if the temp. drops with the rain cloud.

| The main reasons I want to walk her is to give her undivided attention, get her some fresh air & a little exercise since she's already packing on the winter pounds. I could take her to all of the pet stores, etc. but she's terrified. Vet, store & groomer are all very traumatic for her, though the walking would go fast. I wish there was some other place but I can't think of one.

| Sounds like you need to get yourself a good brolly and Princess a nice raincoat. A raincoat is the one thing ZoE still doesn't have so if you come across a good deal, post it

| I'll take Kiko out when it is raining (she has a raincoat), but only if it is warm out, otherwise she gets chilled once her legs and head get really wet. |

| I won't purposely go for a walk in the rain but we've gotten sprinkled on a few times in the middle of one. It's not too bad. But if it's raining any harder than a sprinkle.... no that's NOT fun LOL. I hate being out in the rain. Jackson is not big on rain either, as much as he loves water in all other forms, the rain is one he hates.

| Lola has a rain coat but wants nothing to do with the rain! When I try to bring her outside to potty (even with an umbrella) she doesn't move! She just runs to me, puts her front paws on my shoes and cries to be picked up. So when its raining she stays inside, but so far she doesn't mind the snow! Go figure

| Crazy really, isn't it? Harry hates the rain, but loves going in the sea! If we're out and it's been raining, he'll skirt round the outside of puddles! But he loves running in long wet grass! When we were out walking the other day, he jumped into a stream - then just stood there, not knowing what to do!! Just sad eyes looking up - and I had to get in to 'rescue' him'.....!!! Funny little littlies aren't they?!!? Sally + Harry x |

| Yes, Tibbe goes potty outside in the rain. If it is absolutely pouring and he's just got to go, I break down and put his raincoat on him - which he HATES with a passion. He just stands there like a lump in it and I have to encourage him from behind and scoot his little butt along with my hands to get him to start through the door. For some reason when he's wearing that raincoat, he thinks he is paralyzed and should just stand there! Once he is out the back door, he's unparalyzed and will walk and even run around. He then does his biz and comes back in, walking as if he's taking his last steps because he knows he's going to get the raincoat taken off and get toweled and he's not fond of all of that, even though I'm as gentle as I can be with him, he still resents the whole thing to do with his having to wear that raincoat. He's so funny! You gotta love such a little character!

| The diva and rain and snow??????? No freakin way......a thousand horses couldn't get her outside to potty in the rain or snow. If we are out for a walk and it starts raining.....Miss Thang will stop walking and expects me to pick her and carry back home. . Dang she is so lucky she only weighs 5lbs. | I have a doggy door so Lil Bit and Beamer can go out when they want to - we have a large fenced in yard. If Beamer is outside and it starts to rain instead of coming back in the house he will run under the shed!!! I have had to have Lil Bit go get him sometimes. If they are both indoors when it rains I just close the doggie door down and put pee pads down.
