Yes being ill can be a part of life,but you shouldnt be careless with life. Maybe you should not only present them with a copy of this thread but you should present them with a copy of your vet bill. Perhaps sense it is just a part of life they would be willing to help with the part that they caused.

If you have or ever have skin kids, do not leave them in their care for any reason.

Well, I am just very sorry for you!! As much as my mom, dad, mother-in-law, brothers, friends etc think i'm insane for loving my babies as much as I do....I have no doubt that their respect for me alone would having them treat my furkids no differently my skinkids...Im so sorry your family cannot understand your babies the way you do and think they are nothing more than just "a dog"...Its just so frustrating...

And also, the fact that your mother feels no remorse in him getting sick....does she not see it was her actions that got him sick?? Poor you...I doubt you will ever be able to open her eyes...

I know if I can't leave my furkids with her... I will most definitely not leave my skin kids with her (if i ever have any)... Not under any circumstances!!! Though I think it would be a waste of ink, I will print out 2 copies of this thread for the both of them, just so that they can see that its not only me who feels this way about my furkids, and that what they did was wrong.

I doubt either one of them will ever be able to open their eyes... and if and/or when they ever do I will be out of sight. It angers and saddens me that my own flesh and blood would do this, but now I know better.

Sorry guys, I meant to post as soon as we got home, but I really didn't want to stop holding him or cuddling him. I lost track of time, sorry. Well the vet sent him home with pills (ugh anything but PILLS), I was having trouble giving them to him, but they told me to wrap it in peanut butter, and that should make him interested. He's still seems to be tired, but he some how gathered up the energy to pounce on his sister as soon as he got home lol. I'm am over flowing with Joy that my baby is finally home!!!

Thanks everyone!!! Max says thanks for caring and checking on his progress!! We both really appreciate you guys helping to get us through this!! We really can't thank you enough!!! You all are truly like family to us seeing as how you've helped us through a rough time!! I wish I could show my appreciation... like really show you how thankful I am!!! Thank you all very much!!! Max and I send hugs and kisses to all of you!!!
