| Can you recommend a specific brush Lexie is 13 weeks & appears to have a silky coat at the moment. I read in a Yorkie book that you shouldn't use the pin brushes that have the "knobs' on the tips-that is isn't good for their coat. My Shih Tzu have always hated those so I don't use that type on them either. What brand/type do you recommend?

| Madan brushes are the best! I have several. Mimimomo (aka Jenny/Topline Pets) is a member for YT. If you PM her she will help you pick the best brush from the collection. I would suggest to also purchase a comb from her as well.

| Madan brushes are the best! I have used Madan brushes for years. In fact i would recommend my Madan rat tail comb too. The brushes have straight pins and come in great colors. I have used it on my Maltese for years. They do not damage the coat. The brushes come in large and small and have combs that match that are made of something really tough that holds up really well. The rattail combs are great when parting hair or poufing topknots. Just google Madan brushes. |

| Another vote for Madan. We love ours-so much that I got one for my daughter's Cavaliers because I was afraid she would steal theirs. We have the green one. My daughter has the blue one.

| toplinepet.com I have the gold handle large tooth comb, the super soft green brush, and the beard comb! You must get the beard comb! I need to place another order and get the next three on my list. Right now I just have the very basic essential to see how I liked these brushes, I will never go back! Other also use Chris Christian son, they are a bit more expensive though.
