How are you doing the potty training? Are they both pad trained? If so they using the same pad area?
I'm still so back & forth on whether to get another or not. It's such a commitment and I'm so worried about what's best for ZoE. Would she be happier being the only pup and getting all the attention or would she like the company of another pup for the hours I'm gone from home? Just wish I could read her mind...lol |
I have had mine pad-trained (Cricket and Gidget). I have a wee pad in the laundry room off the family room where Gidget goes. That is also where I am attempting to train Sidney to go. I have more pads down now just bc we are training but in the same area. Sidney does like to imitate everything Gidget does. The wee wees are improving, but #2 we are still struggling with. She reminds me of potty-training a skinchild. She likes to hide and #2 somewhere if she can get out of my watchful eye for a minute.
I know what you mean about struggling w the decision to add another. I don't think my Cricket would have liked another. Gidget seems torn. They are starting to play, and she seems to like having someone to zoomie w. On the other side, she does seem annoyed about sharing laps, blankets, windows she likes to look out, etc. We're hoping eventually she'll not mind the sharing part of having a sister. She does not fight her, though.
