I play fight with Levi, but it mostly consists of him bowing and then me chasing him. We roll around a bit, he jumps like a jumping bean, and then I pick him up. We also play "hand," where he will pounce on my hand and follow it around, wrestling it. But bow and chase is definitely his favorite game to play fight with me.

He play fights differently with my brother that babysits him during the day. They have their own special game that Levi won't play with me, and I'm not quite sure I understand their rules. It's so funny that he play fights in different ways with different people...and there's a whole new set of rules when he's wrestling and play fighting with another pup!

ALL THE TIME! lol. It's kind of ridiculous to someone looking in. I'll get on the ground and throw my hands on the floor and growl and make insane noises and he LOVES it. lol

Yes but we only started doing it after chachi was an adult and was careful with his teeth when biting. He wont bite down so he knows it is just play and he doesnt want to hurt us

I do the same thing! I even bark sometimes ha! I feel guilty she's an only child so I feel like I need to go all out and be her playmate :P

Lol yea sometimes poeple really do get upset over silly things... but I think everybody's stories are really funny and cute!

My DH play fights with Ziva. She loves it and can sound crazy mean! She is navigating the rules with the new pup Abby (15 weeks) Ziva is teaching Abby how to growl- sounds like a broken squeak toy! After a touchy start Ziva is doing well with a new playmate.

So glad you started this thread because I thought I was nuts for "wrestling" with Romeo! I use one of his stuffed toys and pretends it's wrestling him but he soon figures out it's not the toy but me. I then wrap my hand in a blanket and Romeo usually dives in for the "kill" and tries to shake my hand as if it were one of his toys. 10-15 minutes of playing like this tires him and then it's nap time (and I go back to work).

My Pringle loves that!!! Her 'daddy' usually uses his hands when they were numb whereas he could not feel her bites but I don't do it too much because her teeth are so sharp they scratch when we play.

Pringy also loves when the hands are under the covers (even if the feet move when I'm not playing) she goes buckwild! And I love tucking my feet under my leg whereas she starts digging and jumping on the area looking for it!

Two of our favorite games are play fighting and tag. It's even more fun when the mean and grouchy cat joins in. I usually end up chasing them both around the kitchen table. They love it!

I wrestle with the doggies with my head.

I lie on the floor on my stomach with my arms out in front of me while the boys try to dive under my chin. They love it! Max gives me nose bites.

Have you tried doing that same thing, but with a blanket over yourself and your arms stretched in front and occasionally wiggle your fingers? Then snatch your hands back under sometimes?!!? What are we like?!!?
