Do you play fight with your yorkie? This question may be more revelant to those with just one yorkie. :D Kaji has only me as his primary playmate. I must confess, sometimes I don't understand the rules to the games he wants to play. I think he needs a doggy playmate. ;) In order to satisfy his doggy needs, I actually play fight with him. I use only my head, and the goal is for me to roll Kaji onto his back and pin him. Even if I succeed, he wins because he gets his belly kissed and rubbed. :p does anyone else play fight with their babies? |
YES :D Harley and I play this game on the bed which usually starts with me jumping towards him, he'll bounce around like a jumping bean, and then I crouch down and "chomp" at him like I'm going to gobble him up or blow on him (either works well), and then he zooms on the bed and pounces on me, and it usually ends in him nibbling my nose or kissing it depending on his mood, then he flops on his belly for kisses and belly rubs Gotta occupy him some how :P |
I have three furrbabies and play with all of them this way. They are my children and I try to give each of them one on one time. :D |
I do!!! My boys would rather play fight with me than each other!!! |
I play fight with Princess. She loves it & I think it's so funny she can get so worked up, yet be so gentle, lol. |

Kaji's a spazz! He actually practices his "moves" on me and then uses them on his friend Missy. They both love to play fight! :) |
My dh and my ds both play fight with Trixie...especially at bed time. she loves to wait for one of them to come upstairs and then there is a rumble in my bed before lights out :D Of course it was a shock to my father and mother when they slept over one night .... Trixie thought bedtime was a good time to rumble with my dad  |
I do with Callie but I use my hands she doesn't nip at them she just touches her mouth/teeth to them and she knows what game over means and gives me a kiss afterwards. I didn't start using hands with her until she was about a year old and figured out the different between play and not. My dad loves to get on the floor on his hands and knees and act like a dog with her and she loves it. |
I do that as well! I pretend to bite his tummy and blow on it and that sends him in to a jeezy frenzy mood lol. |
Yes, it is one of the joys of Tibbe's life to play fight! He growls and bites on my fingers and has one whale of a time being "fierce". |
Yes I play fight with my baby this way too!! And sometimes when we're on the bed I'll put my hand under the cover a move it (he goes crazy for that). Then I'll pick him up (hand still under the cover) and "slam" him on his back and he'll lay there hugging/licking my arm until I wiggle it and then he wants to fight again :). Btw this is a really cute thread. |

Not a day goes by where we dont play fight!!! I swear its one of Pasquale's favorite past time!! There's two ways that he tells me when he wants to play fight...one being he does this move with his back feet which i call "the bull". The other is the long gaze stare from across the room.....followed by a full bolt towards me and this tazmanian devil sound coming from his mouth LoL IF a day goes by where Pasquale doesnt want to play fight...i know he's not feeling well. |

I do this all the time. I only have one yorkie too. It normally happens when I'm getting dressed and she jumps on the bed. I use my hands though, and she knows that it's just playing because she doesn't bite hard... just barely nibbles. :) She loves it and gets all excited... then runs and finds a toy so I can chase her around the house. |
