Thanks Teresa!! He is a special little guy....And Im so glad he has such a big extended YT family!!

Heres the newest news: Mack kept down his food all night!!! Apparently it wasn't much, but it was SOMETHING!! When I picked him up this morning, the vet came in to talk with me (this was a new one I haven't met yet at the er clinic). She said I had a true little miracle. She said she had stopped by the clinic Saturday morning just to see what was going on, and was informed about Mack. She said he had one of the most bizaare cases she had ever seen. She was truly amazed as well that he pulled through. I told her he had a huge group of people praying for him...she just smiled and said, I believe it.

Anyways, Mack actually gave me one small kiss this morning!! That's the first kiss I've gotten since Thursday morning, so I was really excited! lol! He is now at my vets office...they were so excited to see him. My vet told me he had gone over in his head over and over what he was going to say to me when I called him this weekend to tell him Mack hadn't made it.... He said "He is one tough little Sh**!"....I had to smile!

I just called to ck in and they said he had a great attitude...He hasn't eaten anymore, but "looks" interested, so we will just wait and see. Poor little guy was just skin and bones when I held him this morning. I changed him into a clean t-shirt before transferring him that said "Rough Day"...thought that fit!

Thank you YT family....Hopefully very soon Mack will be safely back at home!

Good to hear Mack is keeping his food down and is back to his regular vet! We are praying and thinking of Mack. He is a little fighter!

When Mack gave you a kiss, it must have felt like you won the million dollar lottery!! Hope Mack eats a little more each day and feels better and better each day too!!

I'm so thankful to read your update on little Mack! What a little trooper he is and I do believe it was all the prayers. PTL! I will pray for his continued recovery and I'm so glad you got that special kiss this morning!

I am over the moon to her that he is doing this well. That is truly amazing to be so ill and have to deal with surgery and make it through! That seems so much for one little bitty doggie to have to deal with - really. It seems like it is going to be a happy holiday season for Mack Brown and his family!!! His life is a big Christmas present come very early from above.:littleang

We are in the car headed home!!! He ate a little more during the day and has kept it down. They left his iv port just in case, but feel he will be happier at home with his family!! He just seems super tired, which I'm sure he is!! Now it will be a challenge to keep Bevo and Bryleigh away from him because I know they have missed him so! Wish me luck on a great night!!

My vet just shook his head as we were leaving and said I still can't believe it!

He will rest better with you. Poor thing! Being in the hospital must have stunk for him. He will be happier once he is home and in familiar surroundings.

Yeah I am glad to hear he coming home. Just be careful with the IV Port still in and don't let him jump as it will just shove the needle in farther and cause an infection.

Maybe the needle is out and just the catheter left in to prevent needle injury to the vein. Anyway, I am so glad this little trooper is spending tonight at home even though his mommie won't get a wink of sleep. Hope the night goes extremely well and he's even better tomorrow.
