I am thinking and praying for Mack! I recently saw his smilebox and feel I "know" him!

Well, we got to visit macky..... He actually stood up for a second when he saw us and then collapsed back down. His eyes are so full of sadness. Those blue green eyes just pierce you with questions of why. We hugged and kissed him and told him we loved him. I brought him another one of his favorite blankies, his favorite bear, and a clean shirt (which due to his iv, he couldn't change into right now). The staff there probably thinks I'm nuts! Oh well!

Cross your fingers at 4.... Thats when they will try to give him a little bit of water to see if it stays down. Mack did seem comfortable though and didn't seem to be in alot of pain. He is getting pain meds as well though due to the surgery yesterday. I'll ck back in when I know more.

Oh.... And we also took Bevo and bryleigh in and gave them one more vaccination.... That's Bryleighs 5th one now (I always have 4 rounds done verses 3)... Just want to be extra careful!!!

So sorry to hear about your little guy. That is terrifying! Wonderful to hear that he is doing a little bit better. Thoughts and prayers for you & your family and Mack. Hope to read more good news soon.

A very encouraging report. Standing a bit is quite something. So glad he seems comfortable. Hope he keeps down his water fine.

So glad to hear the little guy is fighting hard!!! I woke up 3 times last night (new puppy had to go potty) and each time I lay my head back on the pillow I send out a prayer for Mack!! He has a strong will and God made him extra special!! The YT prayer chain is on his side!

Hang in there Momma! I know how scared you must be! <3 Sending hugs and strength for you also!

Little Mack has been on my mind and in my prayers. I'm so glad you got some promising news today. Poor baby. I'm sure he was so happy to see you today! I'll keep chekcing back.

Stay Strong for him when you go in and see him---he needs to believe things will be ok when he looks in your eyes. Which they will be;)

I'm glad you got to see each other. It probably helped him just as much as it did you. Hoping all goes well when they give him some water.

Oh my goodness. Just saw this and as I read your posts my heart slowly came up from the floor.

Well, Mack did not tolerate the "doggy food flavored" Liquids as they called it. He threw it up.....they ran more blood work and his white count is still good, a little low but ok. His platelet count was low so they are going to give him a transfusion. He is goin to give him additional nausea meds..... That's all I know. It really stinks that I just can't run back and forth to ck on him. He's an hour away.... The tears are back

I know it would be tough that he is so far away. It's too bad you aren't closer to one another. I'm sorry he didn't tolerate the water. It will take time and then one day he will surprise you and bounce back. He's already doing better.

Just reading your post and my heart hurts for all that you and little Mac are going through. I feel in love with that little guy when you recently posted some pictures of him What a doll baby. Sending prayers your way and will continue to pray for you and baby Mac. Please keep us posted and know we are all here for you and there is so much power in prayer.

Kendra, I'm just now seeing this. We've been gone and haven't had a chance to really check YT. I am so, so sorry you, your family and Mack Brown are having such a tough time. I hope he improves and is back in your arms SOON.
