When ever I take Callie to the groomer they tip her ears and hers are floppy.

She is my little sweetie! Here is a pic of her brother, Armani...his hair was growing out in this pic, but the ears do show....

Yes, they do tip floppy ears, too! My foster Sunny D has cute floppy ears! I love the way they look when tipped.

I really liked the way this Yorkie looked... a YT'er actually posted this and said she gave her groomer a pic of Jackson, lol, but I like his hair cut better than Jackson's.

But then again I also like the 2nd pic (with the hair totally off the ears, it looks like)... but I can't ever get a groomer to do exactly like either of these. Usually the face is cut inwards too short, if that makes sense.

Ok, like this picture... I HATED the way the groomer did his face here, and she did not usually do it this way... but I was disappointed w this particular haircut.

I am not good with descriptive words, but see how it was like... cut "inwards" and not really rounded around his face?? I hated it!!

It is hard to find a good groomer. I liken it to trying to find a good hairdresser. Once you find one, you treat him/her like gold.

Definitely! But the sad thing was the groomer that did that haircut was always my fav. This was probably her 5th time working with Jackson and it was just not a very good job, and she also cut him.

I had previously been so happy (she was a mobile groomer).

So now I have a new mobile groomer who I was even happier with but she did not do the ears really right either. Maybe I am too picky. lol

I doubt it is you. It is something that many groomers are not so good with. I would definitely give her pics of what you want.

Personally, I would let Jackson's hair grow a tad bit longer on his face and head before grooming him again and then have her tip them the way that Teddy is done. I think it would look cute on Jackson.

OR.....do what I do with my Cookie. She is a mix and the hair is a bit different....but I like her ears untipped and long...kind of fits her wild thing personality. She now has shorter body hair than the pics below. The only problem is it might make Jackson's ears look bigger. I just think it is kind of fun looking.

This is what I was actually planning on doing!

Letting it grow out for a bit and just keeping up with the hair near his eyes trimming it, and cutting the nails. I love the way Teddy's ears are done!

Cookie pulls that off great!! The ear fringe has never been my thing, I think it's such a fun look (I love Dexter's ears) but I could not resist the urge to just cut it! lol.

Yes, it makes sense. On the dog in the picture, I prefer the first cut. For Jackson, the ears can go a little shorter. I totally get what you mean. Everything should be in proportion. Show your new groomer older pictures of Jackson, when everything was perfect.

I agree that this was not his best look. Too much hair was taken off the chin/bottom jaw line. It should be like he had it before....from the base of the ear, through the mustache and jawline should all blend. He doesn't have to have a round head with long hair, just blended.

If you knew Cookie, you would not cut it off. It totally fits her.

She is a wild thing....when I found out she liked to model, I was floored. I never thought she would sit still like that. She is really good about it. Pretty funny stuff. Did you see her as the housewife in the Halloween contest two years ago? While we were doing that, I was laughing until I had tears in my eyes. She loved every minute of it.

Oh lord I would have beat the groomer if she cut Peanut like that. I mean I know it grows back I have had my share of groomers, but honeslty???? Did you forget how to cut hair? Geeesh almighty!
