I doubt it is you. It is something that many groomers are not so good with. I would definitely give her pics of what you want.
Personally, I would let Jackson's hair grow a tad bit longer on his face and head before grooming him again and then have her tip them the way that Teddy is done. I think it would look cute on Jackson.
OR.....do what I do with my Cookie. She is a mix and the hair is a bit different....but I like her ears untipped and long...kind of fits her wild thing personality. She now has shorter body hair than the pics below. The only problem is it might make Jackson's ears look bigger. I just think it is kind of fun looking.
