Yes, it makes sense. On the dog in the picture, I prefer the first cut. For Jackson, the ears can go a little shorter. I totally get what you mean. Everything should be in proportion. Show your new groomer older pictures of Jackson, when everything was perfect.

I agree that this was not his best look. Too much hair was taken off the chin/bottom jaw line. It should be like he had it before....from the base of the ear, through the mustache and jawline should all blend. He doesn't have to have a round head with long hair, just blended.
