| I have one, but partial custody of my nieces little boy. Works really great this way. My husband and I cann't agree about another. I want another one and he says no. So my sister in law and I agreed to share custody of their 9 year old boy. A week at a time. I'm loving it and my husband likes it too. |

| i have 3 dogs. 2 chihuahuas and 1 yorkie. they are all girls . i had the 2 chihuahuas first and then a freind of mine got sick and couldnt take care of her dogs and i told her i'd take her yorkie. she has fit in perfectly. all 3 girls get along great. i have to draw the line now at 3 although i know they would be happy if i added another. they love playmates.

| I can't decide if I'm liking two yet or not (I am dogsitting a 9 month old Boston/Beagle mix). It's our second day together and I actually am really enjoying it for the most part. They both slept in my bed through the night, we went for a long walk this morning, took them to the dog park and they got to run around and play with each other (usually, when I bring Jackson to this particular park, the small section is empty), they wrestle every now and then inside. They are both really easy in the car. I honestly haven't found it to be much more work than just Jackson though I will say that I think my second will be an adult lol. Toby is luckily a very well behaved puppy but I don't think he ever lays down, haha, he's constantly just walking around (luckily, not chewing or getting into anything). But yeah. I'm pretty much liking this. But then I run into on Sunday, I want to go visit my relatives that are in town and I'm going to bring Jackson but leave Toby at his house. If he was my own, I'd feel awful taking one and not the other. I know I'd easily be able to handle two, I think my main issue now is things like above ^^ and cost. I think about doubling Frontline/Advantix, Heartguard, food, medical bills, and all the collars and harnesses and goodies I'm obsessed with buying.

| My aha moment for wanting two was after I dog sat my parents' Yorkie Ginger. Ginger and Sydney get along great. Both girls. It was so much fun having two, but then are wondered about having three now that all three play nicely together. It wouldn't be for quite some time, but I am enjoying having two. They each have a different personalities.

| I only have 1 yorkie who is 5.5 months old and a Shih tzu who is almost 5. I would love to have one more yorkie but can't. I have an 11 and 2 year old with one baby on the way. I guess I would have to wait. I think I would have 4 dogs total if I could. As long as you can care for them get as many as you want. |

| I have two and I couldn't be happier! Maybe when I retire I can have more, but two is a good number for me right now. They have each other, so they have another doggie for companionship, but I don't have so many that I'm not able to dote on each one. Of course, I currently have 4 kitties as well, so I'm required to do a lot of doting each day.
