I have two and I couldn't be happier! Maybe when I retire I can have more, but two is a good number for me right now. They have each other, so they have another doggie for companionship, but I don't have so many that I'm not able to dote on each one. Of course, I currently have 4 kitties as well, so I'm required to do a lot of doting each day.
