I should also say, I know NOTHING about Biewers as a breed other than I find them to be a good-looking dog. I'm horrified that someone would treat these beautiful dogs like that. It's heart-breaking. |

One: BTCA sold fraudulent championship titles. Two: BTRA the registry for BTCA is run by people who run puppy mills and who were even arrested for it. Three: The apparent sad sacks above actually DEFEND that corrupt organization. Four: people who have positions of trust among dog breeders and dog showers put themselves on a step above the rest-- just like priests do. Five:people who go out of their way to violate trust should NEVER be trusted again. |

Tiffany is not on the board of the Biewer registry. If you hire a plumber due to water damage and your insurance company pays the bill, does that plumber now become a board member for the insurance company? The BTCA hired Tamara, not Tiffany, to do the paper work on the Biewer Terrier registrations, because no other registry will make sure that only purebred Biewer Terriers are being bred. Pretty much everybody hires the AKC to do their registrations and not the APRI, or CKC (American). Neither one of these women sit on the BTRA board, because there is no BTRA board. The only reason BTRA was mentioned in this post is because Georgia Warren, Dee Ashley, Kathy Scott and Sharon Elliott were suspended from registering their dogs with BTRA because of various violations, otherwise no one would have posted anything about a MiKi breeder on this forum. |
Yawn. Any word on what's going on with the animal cruelty case? |

I always love Rhett's mom's posts I'm so with her on this I'm just not as nice...and Greenwood good points. Sorry for the red, I'm just seeing it considering the issue over registry facts denial. lets look at facts here: children & animals were abused. |
Here let's end the silliness of this thread getting off topic: Nancy if the person whom is the subject of this story was involved with the AKC would you have posted this in the same way? I swear I heard a yes, drama over. |
This is OK with all of you registering with AKC? http://www.barkrescue.net/pmpicture.jpg Puppy mills mean big revenues for the AKC. In 2006 the American Kennel Club (AKC) registered 870,000 individual dogs and 416,000 litters. At $20 per dog and $25 per litter (plus $2 per puppy), AKC brought in well over $30 million in revenues from registration of dogs born in puppy mills. |

Just an FYI, Biewers are new to a lot of us. A lot of us don't know much about them but find them to be very good-looking dogs. When ppl defend such deplorable acts, it doesn't give ppl who admire Biewers but do not own (yet?) a warm, fuzzy feeling. I have seen threads on this site about animal abuse at puppy mills that had been shut down. Some of these were registered w the USDA and AKC. I found the conditions of those places just as deplorable, and I know of other AKC breeders who are appalled also. Good breeders of any breed or any registry should stand up to these kind of "greeders". |
“The first floor of the house was soaked with urine, covered with feces and approximately one inch of standing water.” Police found the bodies of two “Mi-Ki breed dogs” as they sorted through the mess: One was left “rotting in a bag in the bedroom,” and the body of the other was found in the backyard. The house was overrun with 37 living dogs in various states of illness, and neighbors told police that Wilkerson-Hood’s children were left to look after the animals and themselves as best they could. The living dogs were examined by a veterinarian and had ailments ranging from gum disease to skin infections caused by “urine scald.” All had fur heavily matted with feces. Wilkerson-Hood allegedly later told police she had been spending time at her boyfriend’s home without her children and tried not to stay at Ramsey Drive. Carlton, emphasizing certain words in her written statement, then adds, “Tiffany could only advise a couple of times that her children were NOT in the home in the past 60 days when she was asked.” Wilkerson-Hood had a state license to operate a breeding kennel and was fined in February for its poor condition. “Tiffany … told animal control officers that she and her mother were award-winning dog breeders and things had just spiraled out of control for her at the home,” Carlton said. AKC, CKC, BTRA or any other registry, this woman is horrid. |

This was strictly posted to discredit the BTCA BTRA and all it's members Get your facts straight. Pick up the phone and call the people involved. What was admitted by the IABCA in a court of law was nothing more than a possible Logo infringement by the BTCA,there was NEVER any fraud. The UCI has made several statements that the BTCA was fully entitled to issue these titles. What gives you the right to stand in judgment and post false statements. Is the real reason for your agenda, that nobody has been able to beat the BTCA Biewers fair and square. That the quality of the BTCA breeders and their dogs is by far a better than many of others out there. This smear campaign has gone on long enough .The BTCA members are very happy with their club ,the support they get and the progress of their Biewer Terriers.Yorkietalk has been used and abused by people like you, to slander innocent members of the BTCA and purposely discredit their breeding program. |

True pup mill dogs are also AKC registered, sad but true it's about educating buyers and calling out pup miller, greeders, abusers etc...not blaming the AKC-the only reputable registry in America. |
