| Just checking in to see how all the folks in the path of the hurricane are doing. Sounds like it is currently slamming North Carolina pretty hard. Prayers for all of you. Christy- Mommie of Harley |

| Well I am in Southern NH.... we took in our patio furniture and tied the hot tub cover down. We took all the precautions and have a generator and gas for it. I think we are going to be fine, they are saying 40-60 mph winds here and heavy rain for pretty much all day tomorrow. It started raining about 4pm today. We are not going anywhere or anything.. the only concern is how wet the ground already is that there will be flooding and pine trees are huge and everywhere, they have shallow root systems so there may be a lot of trees down. I just pray none fall on a house, any house. Be safe everyone!

| We are supposed to get heavy rain and high winds starting in the early AM. There has been some tornado activity further inland in NC. I think one of the major concerns is lower Manhattan in NYC and Long Island and the Jersey Shore. Could have some major storm serge. Power is out in parts of NC. We will know more in the morning. |

| Kaos just threw up twice, which is something he NEVER does. I hope its not too serious. I won't be able to get anywhere in this storm. |

| Call your vet and maybe he can give you some guidance as to what to do should it get worse through the night such as fluids, etc. I hope and pray he is going to be okay.

| I was watching the news (11 PM) and it was said that if you aren't evacuted, it is too late to go now.... so stay put and hopefully you are in a safe place. I was happy to hear that all 65 shelters were willing to accept pets in NYC. (of course they ask that they be in carriers/crates, which is understandable) I am praying for all our YT friends on the East Coast that they are safe along with their families, friends & pets..... Hopefully you have read the wonderful posts previously posted on this thread and have all the necessities ready. It is so scary (there were several times this Spring that I packed dog items in a backpack and put the crates in a convenient place during tornado warnings) & I know it is an anxious but eerie feeling. Keep us posted & let us know that you are OK (..... with the power outages, you might consider calling one of your YT friends to let us know!!) Take Care!!!!!!!!!!

| It is eerie watching the Times Square EarthCam and see how sparse the human and vehicle traffic is in Times Square compared to any other Saturday night. Man just tweeted he's confined to his apartment for the next 24 hrs in NYC. Guess he's high up and the elevators are down/electricity off. A lot of the hotels have shut down AC and elevators and ConEd shutting off electricity in many businesses apparently. Hope you all keep power in your homes/apartments.

| Right now we are very blessed to have power but it is flickering like crazy. We are having 51 mph gusts and it is crazy and scary sounding not to mention there are a million different noises outside. I think I need a thundershirt or maybe a hurricane shirt. Callie is handling everything very well though.

| He may sense the storm and be nervous. Mine are panting and pacing which they never do. I hope your baby is alright. So far here in NJ where I live (Lacey Township) about 15 minutes south of Toms River / Seaside, we still have power which I'm thankful for. We are in a Tornado watch which is scaring the crap out of me. I would put a call into the vet and ask him or her if there is anything you can give him to calm his tummy. Elaine |

| Boy, I would need a Thunder Bodysuit and Thunder Helmut all strapped on me as tight as could be to keep me from running in circles flinging my hands in the air! I sure hope and pray this old storm gives up and peters out a lot before it does anymore damage!
