This site is the best. I'm still not sure about the type of coat Meeko has because although it mats very easily it is straight, but it is very thin. I think i will think about giving him the puppy cut you talked about. I will get him through the winter but come spring it's comming off.

Thank you! I find if the dog has the thick and cotton coat it better for you and them to keep them short! I have one that I keep cut down, the rest have silky coat and are not hard to keep in coat! Grooming is not easy!I could tell you some stories! Your dog looks nice! lily
