| For you that have two... Yesterday, Pucci came back over for a visit. If you remember, he and Rosie played pretty well together before Mikki came along. Well, yesterday neither girl wanted much to do with him. With much encouragement, Mikki started to play with him a little. As they were playing, Pucci started barking at Mikki. I was holding Rosie in my lap. All of a sudden, Rosie bows up and starts growling. I calmed her back down and then Pucci did it again. And Rosie started growling again. I put Rosie down on the floor and she got nose to nose with Pucci. I picked her up before anything could happen. She has never done this before. I am wondering, was she being protective of Mikki? She only bowed up and growled when he was barking at Mikki. I have never seen her act like this toward Pucci. What do you think?

| I dont know if its protectiveness or not but mine do similar things. One of my cats will swat Chachi and Jewels will go after them. So I dont know but it does seem like protectiveness to me

| I think Rosie was protecting Mikki and telling Pucci to leave her sister alone. Hobbes, my big boy, does this to Calvin when he thinks he is playing to rough with Sassy. Hobbes will stand real straight and bark his big dog bark. I think Rosie loves her sister.

| It sounds like she was watching out for Mikki, telling Pucci to leave her alone.

| Rosie remembered the last time he came to visit, you got Mikki. She is just looking out for herself to make sure you don't bring in another little sister. There is not enough room on the Cloud 9 bed without Mikki touching her. Rosie must have been listening to me when I told her where she made her mistake. Just Kidding

Ha ha! Ok so maybe she just owes Pucci a good "beating up". Lol. Our other cloud 9 is on its way to our house as we speak! We got the cloud 9 issue handled!

| I thought Rosie was pretty happy with her new sister and didn't want any boys around, especially if he wanted to get near her Cloud 9 bed.

That is right! No boys allowed on the cloud 9! His mommy just ordered him two! So he will be a happy boy.

| I think Rosie was watching out for Mikki. Carmel did similar thing when Emma was scared of this bigger dog at the dog park. He came in between them and started barking at the dog. LOL His bark was so childish...it was so cute
