Yesterday, Pucci came back over for a visit. If you remember, he and Rosie played pretty well together before Mikki came along. Well, yesterday neither girl wanted much to do with him. With much encouragement, Mikki started to play with him a little. As they were playing, Pucci started barking at Mikki. I was holding Rosie in my lap. All of a sudden, Rosie bows up and starts growling. I calmed her back down and then Pucci did it again. And Rosie started growling again. I put Rosie down on the floor and she got nose to nose with Pucci. I picked her up before anything could happen. She has never done this before. I am wondering, was she being protective of Mikki? She only bowed up and growled when he was barking at Mikki. I have never seen her act like this toward Pucci. What do you think? |
