Vet called me an hour ago to give me report on D. He is looking alot better
only concern is that he is still vomiting and vet can't figure out why.They will do mre bloodwork and xrays if he is still vomintg tonight. They let me bring him home for the night again. But that is definitely a good sign maybe he has been vomiting because of empty stomache and sooooo much meds

Regarding my neighbor - It is really weird because she is always in her front yard doing something either watering, gardening or just sitting outside but she hasn't been out at all.

I have decided to report it but not until she has paid all vet bills. I will registering 2 of my yorkies with my friends address. And then If asked I will say I dog sit. Which is actually true because I do dog sit a few yorkies throughout the year whenever the owners go on vacation.

I called animal control earlier and asked what were the regulations on dog sitting at my home. They told me I didn't need a license to do it but that every dog needed to have up to date rabies vaccine and be licensed.

I then went few houses down to a neighbor of mine who has 5 dogs and animal control has came to her house before. She told me that the time the were their was because she hadn't paid license fees. They asked how many dogs do you have she said 5 he asked for rabies vaccines and checked to make sure they were all registered which they were. He said ok and that was the end of it. I asked her how did they get away with 5 when our city only allows 3. She didn't know but she was thinking maybe because they were all vaccinated and were registered. I though maybe they were registered to different address but she said no they are all registered here.

So I felt better after talking to her.

I'm so glad he is doing better and eating. Good for you for checking out the dog limit situation. Where I live the limit is 3 but the Mayor told me that if you have one or two more they don't say anything unless someone specifically makes a complaint. She had 5 Yorkies herself including a couple of rescues. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you and your doggies that everything works out for you.

I can't belive I somehow missed this thread. (I also work in the schools and we started back this week so I haven't been on much)

I am so sorry your family had to go through such a nightmare BUT overjoyed your sweet Deeogi has recovered and pulled through so well. I will add your little guy to my prayers.

Awwww, that poor little baby. I am so glad he is able to hold his head up. He has a lot of stitches it looks like. Lots of extra love for that little baby. Don't they usually put animals down that attack like that? I don't know just asking.

I am with his vet staff, I love his hears too. He looks amazing after all he has endured!

I forgot to mention he gave me a kiss right when I picked him up from vet
That's when i knew he was better because he loves to give kisses.

He has alot more stitches then what the pic shows. They are under his arm and on other side of face. The biggest wound goes from side of his chest up to side of his ear.

This just breaks my heart, give him lots of hugs from me and my babies. Happy to hear he is doing better. Continued prayers for you and the situation with AC. Deeogi is such a brave boy.

Bless that poor little darling's heart. Such a brave little face. Oh, it makes my heart hurt to think of his terror and pain and fear. God help the other little animals and children on that block. Your little baby did not deserve this and it was so completely unnecessary. If that dog owner had just done the right thing your baby would be fine and happy in your home right now playing with a toy. I am so sorry this happened to that sweet little thing it just breaks my heart. Please give him the softest and gentlest hug from Tibbe and me and whisper we all love him. ♥♥♥

omg poor dog. thank God he's alive and going to heal. prayers for quick healing and lots of patience and rest for Deeogi. Poor baby

I hope you take those vet bills to their door and tell them either they pay for them all or you are taking them to court for it. That shouldn't have happened and they owe you big time!!
