I have been afraid to open this thread. I went right to the last page and gave a huge sigh of relief. I am SO glad the little love is OK. How wonderful it must have been to get that first kiss.

I am glad you are going to get the bills pay and then report. People need to know there are SERIOUS consequences for their actions.

I am known as the crazy mean dog lady on the block that gets VERY angry at dogs off leash. I have followed kids home that are repeat offenders and been stern with their parents.

How heartbreaking.
I am so very glad that your baby made it through surgery and is doing better.
Again the prayers offered up by the Yorkie Talk family have been answered.

They had to shave him and they only left some hair on ears which makes his ears look HUGE lol Staff at vet's office loved his ears.

I and all of us will certainly pray that things will go very well with AC and that you can get this dangerous dog and irresponsible owner under the oversight of AC so that future little Deeogi's and kids will be safe.

Have you no prospects at all for forever homes for your little rescues at this time? If not, perhaps in our prayers, we can ask God to send wonderful, responsible, committed and loving new owners seeking them once they are advertised in whatever format you use. Little Deeogi will be taking a lot of your time for the next few weeks as you will be pretty busy tending to all the things you will be doing to tend his wounds and keep them clean, give medications, record temperature, doing some water PT, running him to the vet for follow-up, etc. Try your best not to wear yourself out and take your rest where you can.

Deeogi will be in my prayers until he has reached maximum medical improvement and even then I'll likely never forget him. Thank you for being such a wonderful mommie.

Keeping your boy in my prayers....so glad to see that he is doing better...He must love being able to be with you at night...And im sure you must love being with him as well...Sweet Boy....so sad he had to go through this....

Aw!!! God bless you and your baby both!! Just read what has been going on! Bless his heart..who cares if he 's shaved..it will grow back in no time.. His face in that pic. looks very healthy and ok.!

Just look at that handsome little face!!

There is definitely lots of life sparkling in those eyes - he is just precious.

I'm so happy that he's recovering well. Sending continued prayers that he'll be all better soon.

I am so happy to read that Deeogie is improving. Wishing you good luck in dealing with animal control, I would never give advice on what I think you should do, however I am happy that you are comfortable in reporting this so that this dog can't be allowed to do this again. Perhaps next time to a small child as well. God bless you and your family, still praying for Deeogie's continued recovery.
