Now on to football, DH just went to a school meeting. Only water and Gatorade for the boy now. He has to give up cokes, tea, etc. They go full pads on Wednesday so I know how you feel. It is still so hot here at 9:25. It is 98 degrees with a heat index of 103 degrees. And it is night time!!!!!!

I am almost forgetting what cool outside feels like. It is terrible. 112 degrees predicted for Wednesday. This is crazy!

I live in OK and have my little Chloe and Roscoe the Yorkies, along with Munchkin my large mix breed that thinks Chloe is her puppy.

AOL homepage shows 113 for my area and it is 6:15 pm, I think we are now close to 40 days of over 100.

We hit 113 degrees today also. And I have heard of three wildfires going on. One in Oklahoma, two in Arkansas. We need rain in a bad way.

113!! That's incredible.

My poor garden and all my flowers burned up. We water every day and they still burned up. I can't let the dogs out at all, so they stay in the air conditioned house with me all day long.

I just hope and pray people are keeping their dogs inside and not leaving them out in this awful heat.
