Where are the Oklahoma people? I was just curious to see how many Okies there are on this forum, where in Oklahoma you're located, and a little bit about your Yorkies and other little dogs. I'll start out by saying I'm from Oklahoma City and have 3 babies (see signature). I am retired and stay at home, so my furkids get lots of attention so they are spoiled rotten. Thanks so much! |
You can go to the top of the page and Search, Oklahoma moms and see if there are any in a club. We have one for Georgia. |
You could also go to Regional (at the top) and look for Oklahoma. You will find all types of things with Oklahoma moms and furbabies |

As far as I know there aren't any Oklahoma clubs. Its definitely hot though. 4pm - it says 109 degrees and feels like 110. Yuck. |

I just read an article that said July was the hottest month ever recorded in Oklahoma. It said this week could be the hottest of the year with temperatures approaching 110 degrees, and there is no relief in sight. I'm SO thankful for air conditioning! |
It's miserable down here, too. I've lived here 28 years and do not ever remember a summer as hot and humid. And, oddly, ya'll have it worse up there in OK. Stay cool... |

I am in Arkansas. Right on the Arkansas/Oklahoma line. :) And yes we are having the same HOT weather. Today was 110 degrees here too. It is going to stay that way until the weekend. On Monday they are forecasting a cold front. Lol. Only 103 degrees that day. :p No rain in God knows how long. It is so dry here. We had some boys shot bottle rockets and start a forest fire. I pray for rain soon or I am afraid we might see more of them. :( |
I live in Georgia and it has been 98 here, I go back to work next week in an elementary school lunchroom with no air conditioning.So excited. My son has 4 hours of high school football practice tomorrow in full pads. I am always worried that one of those boys will have a heat stroke. |
Tulsa Oklahoma, just lost my lil yorkie Athena the 11th of July. Will be getting a new yorkie puppy around christmas. I work from home, Have two children ages 10 and 8 and have a lab/malamute that is six months old named Nyx |
