I also posted this on my facebook page. After I read this I hugged my babies and cried (like a baby) I Thank God and my breeder everyday for my babies. Hopefully this will help some babies out there....lets keep them in our prayers.

There's a lump in my throat from reading this. I wish it would touch everyone's heart but unfortunatley some people can't be touched by anything. How sad. Wonder how many are tossed aside just because someone got tired of them. Breaks my heart into.

A long time ago, a friend told me, "I don't condone child abuse, but now I understand it." He was talking about his newborn daughter that he loved as much as life itself. The baby had colic, was tiny, and seemed not to be comforted. She cried nearly non stop for the first few months. New Yorkie parents are no different. What is different is that it is socially acceptable to turn in a challenging puppy but not a child. The person who adopts a Yorkie does not intend to abandon the baby -- no more so than people who marry intend to divorce. I don't know what the answer is, but I can't stomach the slaughter... What IS the answer...? I only know the question.

Besides my son, My Yorkies are my Heart. I woory about loving them too much but I know that isn't possible. I feel bad for the people that love their dogs and they get stolen or lost, but there are so many babies that never have a chance. Thank you for reminding us.

This is so sad but true as others have said . It breaks my heart knowing that there are people in the world that do this to these babies , but they do. As I read this my baby was sitting by my side and and I couldn't imagine my world without her.

This just won't get out of my head. It brought tears to my eyes all day yesterday.

So I spent the entire evening, hours worth, hugging and kissing and holding my munchkins. Just enjoying everything about them and telling them how loved they were over and over. It was a really, really nice time with them.

I *think* they know how much they're loved when I look at all their toys scattered around or think of all their chews and treats in the kitchen cabinet or walk past their closet full of clothes ......but I realize those are just things. I hope they know how very much they mean to me, I hope I show them often enough.
