| I have to admit I'm guilty of this. I didn't realize how poorly trained Teddy is until his leash got loose and I was at a loss for what to do But yeah, you are right, there's a difference b/w loving animals and being a responsible owner.

| Really not sure how I feel about putting a puppy in an auction. However this lil pup got lucky. Sharon Osborne has two poms that are very spoiled and are not left at home even when she is on the road. Kinda conserned about the little ones age. Hope it get along with the poms. |

| I have a HUGE ISSUE with a rescue auctioning off a puppy! Not only would a legitimate rescue not be involved with something like this but that puppy was only 8 weeks old!

| I'm trying to see what the name of the rescue that donated a puppy. I've got a feeling that is was Petland who is known for doing things like this. Has anyone heard the name of the rescue?

| I tried to look on the foundation website but there isn't a list. It might be because it already passed. You cannot get me to believe this was a rescue who donated a puppy. IMO this is not the fault of Sharon and Ozzy making the bid so much as it being allowed to even occur. They seem to be very generous people but obviously they have no idea about rescues.

| I remember a few years back, LAX confiscated some puppies from a Korean puppymill. The dogs were taken to an LA shelter, where when they were ready, they were auctioned off. Here is an article about it: From the Desk of Ed Boks: December 2008 "Ed Boks, the general manager of L.A. Animal Services, is required by City law to hold an auction when more than one person wants an animal." In this case, if the puppy was confiscated in a similar manner, how would it have been handed over to the HollyRod foundation? There is something going on that seems to be hidden.
