| YT 1000 Club Member | My vet is about 45 mins from my home and the ER vet is about 30 mins. We have alot of vets and ER vets closer but our first vet has too many Vets there and one gave one of my pregnant females Prednisone and she lost the litter, same vet I had called to see if they had the proper tubing for tubefeeding if I needed it and they said yes and said they would put it to the side for me, I went in and one of the Vet tech refused to give it to me and proceeded to argue with me. So I left and ordered the tube from revival. I started taking my dogs to one that is 3 minutes from my home and everything was going good. I took a female in for Brucellosis test and a complete blood workup got charged for both and paid for both but found out they actually only did the Brucellosis. I did take a litter to the vet my husband takes our pom to but they got mad about having to get a fecal sample. I left it on the counter at home. My current vet is definitely my permanent vet they are very pleasant some of the staff show and breed and they are well aquanted with the Yorkie Breed. The ER vet is also worth the drive. I don't like the ER vets in my area because the one I went to a few years ago left me sitting outside for 4 hours in the heat with a female that had pancreatitis. That's another long story.

![]() But then you can visit your parents, so it is worth it. The prices in DC are out of sight. My friend had a little girl spayed in the city, no dental extractions, and it cost $800. Most of the offices in this area charge $55 - $65 per visit, but many docs don't charge an exam fee for follow up/breaking up vaccinations.

| Regular vets office is 3 mins away and they just started June 2010 providing 24 hr emergency service! Otherwise there is another emergency vet about 20 to 25 mins away.

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | About 5 miles to my Vet and about 20 to the ER vet, though the actual time to get there depends on the traffic and whether or not I make the lights.

| My vet is 10min away. Don't have a ER vet as anytime I've needed help after hours, I just page him and he comes in. He's my hero! |

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Less than a mile, but the emergency vet takes about 15 minutes, 15 long minutes.

| I think Kaji's vet is 28 miles away? It use to be 40, until I found someone closer that I liked.
