You definitely have to factor in the cost of gas/traveling if you come down to Fred'burg.
But then you can visit your parents, so it is worth it. The prices in DC are out of sight. My friend had a little girl spayed in the city, no dental extractions, and it cost $800.
Most of the offices in this area charge $55 - $65 per visit, but many docs don't charge an exam fee for follow up/breaking up vaccinations.
