| So very angry....Craigs list is bad!' I'm so upset.....It's been a long time since I've posted on YT, I've been trying to keep up reading, but, everyone knows what I mean.....but I'm so upset by this add on craigslist....I try not to go on there, but sometimes I'm drawn to it. The below poster is looking for a home for a baby yorkie that the mom rejected so I wrote to this person feeling really bad and inquiring about the little guy.. here's the post baby yorkie .Well here is her respose to me: He is full blood yorkie. Will be 4-7 lbs full grown. (dad is 4lbs, mom is 7lbs Mom jumped out of the wooden whelping box as he was nursing and he fell on floor. Wouldnt stop crying and wouldnt eat. They had to tube feed him for 3 days. When we took him home she didnt bother with him. He is still being bottle fed every 3 hours or when he wakes up and cries Because of the high vet bill im asking $1,100 for him. Plus he is going to be pretty small. He was born june 18th Your the first one to write so if you would like to meet him and have him i will honor the first come first served. Please let me know soon as there were alot of responses for him. WELL...I wrote back to her saying for one thing, he's to young to be sold, the price was crazy, since he's been sick and she should expect vet bills is she was going to breed....here is her response again: Well thank you for your time. He doesnt have any problems.. is healthy as can be. The only difference is because his mom doesnt care for him. He has no NEED to stay with ME for full 12 weeks. Someone can have him now and do what i do. ohhhhh.....I am so upset.......Some people.....don't deserve to have these little babies! Makes me want to hug mine so much more! Thanks for listening, I feel a little better to know Ive shared... Deb

| Poor baby he will probably be just thrown aside, seems like she doesn't want to care for him. I have read other post on here that puppies have fallen out of the box and the moms didn't deny them. Wonder if the puppy does have an injury.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Craigslist gets me mad every time I read it, so I try to avoid it if at all possible. Greeders will use any excuse to get rid of a pup and get their $$$ sooner.

I don't understand why she doesn't fulfill her committment to this life she basically brought into this world and care for him until he is old enough to be placed.

Because in her mind, the only committment was on his part to make her money. That's the mindset of the greeder.

| That plus the special care he needs is a 24 hour job. That person may just be tired of caring for this precious little life. If he is sick or injured and this is why the mom rejected him , then who knows is will be able to survive ... Very very sad.

| How does she know he is healthy at 4 weeks....sometimes pups fall out of beds when mom nurses, but they do not need the vet and hand feeding from there on out... |

| I know what you mean by being drawn to it. I just like to see the different animals. I searched for my Yorkie for months and have to admit I was contacted many times with scams. It's so sad. One guy showed me a picture of 'Suzie' she was priced at..are you ready for this..only $200. His ad was in the Mobile are but of course he wasnt near there, he first asked where I was located (first clue). I told him it didnt matter, I'd drive to meet her. He said he was in Ohio. I told him I'd be there that Friday and could he recommend a pet friendly hotel so I can take her with me. Of course I never heard again til Saturday and he said we can set another time for me to meet her BUT FIRST I SHOULD SEND HIM $100 to take her off 'adoption list' LOL. REALLY, SCAMMER MAN? The other one that stood out was the one listed in Gulfport, close to me, but he and his two baby yorkies were in Africa and the dogs were suffering in the heat and really needed to get out of there. for $100 I could have them both AND SHIPPED AT THAT PRICE. Disgusting So now I just read. It's so very sad that the truth is, a caring owner/breeder wouldnt list on Craigslist.

| And the other thing that ticks me off is the ones who are BYB and have tired out the poor babies and are trying to sell them to get rid of them and get more. They have pics of all these different 'Wonderful pets' in awful pens with others in the background of picks in pens also outside. Coats all mangled and the dogs look so tired. Very sad
