Bubba becomes velcro during fireworks or just hides under the bed or in the closets. Sissy, on the other hand, wants to be out in the yard barking,running back and forth chasing the fireworks up in the sky. The nearest fireworks are about a mile away but as soon as she hears them she wants out in the yard.

Chewie handled fireworks like a pro! We just walked down the street from my house to get a clear view. He was all excited about being out at night, and acted curious about some of the louder ones, but most of the time he was more interested in bugs or whatever animal was hiding under a nearby tree! He didn't act scared at all--actually, I don't think I've ever seen him act scared. He's a little too fearless for my comfort!

ZoE likes fireworks too! She quickly figured out the boom was followed by lights in the sky. Everytime she'd hear the boom noise, up her head would go to look at the coloured lights. I don't know if she liked or didn't like the spinny ones that drop down & make a sizzling sound in the sky, but those are the only one's she'd bark at, she just watched the rest

I knew Levi wouldn't be terrified or hiding, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well he did. He was calm for the whole show, just sitting on my lap watching the pretty lights.

Aw thanks! I think he was more comfortable in his crate. He really loves his crate anyway! Plus i made it like a lil man cave for him! I'm glad levi had a good time watching the fireworks!!

Congrats! You've not only trained him so well, but socialized & loved him into such security he knows he is always safe with you there and can enjoy the show...now to get all mine there, Scoobers only loves the show when totally stoned out on Dog's Well Mello Mut!
