How wonderful to read these updates!!!!! I missed the thread about where you got her and what the conditions were. Everything is going to be fine now. Once Tucker takes a liking to her you won't be able to seperate them. If you are not covering the crate up when she is in there, you should do so. It helps tremendously. Congratulations and HAVE SOME FUN NOW!!!

I read through the whole thread. I am so glad this had a happy ending. Tucker will come around. Mac still has to be the first to be picked up, petted, played with and the last. His sister can't have more mommy time than him.

The bad (or good) thing is....depending on how you look at it.....is I AM THE ONE THEY CALL TO SAVE THEIR BABY.....a baby that should still be with it's dam.....the most heart wrenching is when the puppy dies within minutes while I am attempting to tell the owner how to save it. It is so heartbreaking......it enough to make one want to kill....thus my rant. I could go on and on about breeders like this....from what I read in your message.....there was no reason on earth to let this baby go early....and no amount of pleas from the buyer would have changed my mind. And as for the kennel setup.....this really sounds to me like a mass-puppy producer....one who in no way has the health and welfare of puppies OR adults foremost. Stories like yours just break my heart. But what has happened is history.....now it's a battle to save this baby.
DANG THIS BREEDER SHE SHOULD BE CURSED FOR WHAT SHE HAS DONE.....sorry that is so strong....but I don't think taking this puppy back is the answer.
Oh and YES there is a big difference between a 6 week old and a 8 week old.

Please everyone do not flame me for speaking out....many of you should use this as a lesson on how NOT to purchase a Yorkie puppy!

Here is a message I sent someone else recently.......please ask more questions if you need to.

Oh my word.....I will try to help. Poor baby I really hope this is not a toy breed. But here goes.

Get some canned goats milk.....Walmart has it. mix half with pedialite. Then crush puppy kibble in the blender (dry) until it looks like brown corn meal. Mixed crushed puppy kibble with goat milk to a runny consistency in a cup saucer. Place some on your finger and try to get puppy to lick it. Encourage puppy to lick as much as possible......then slowly try to get puppy to "find" the soupy mixture in the saucer. If the pup is hungrey.....he will dive in! If puppy does not begin to lap the mixture......then put some kayro surup on finger.....let pup lick it......you can also give puppy 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of surup. If puppy has low blood surgar he may not eat......he will get weaker and weaker as the blood sugar drops. If you can keep the blood surgar up.....then puppy should eat willingly. If not then syringe (use syringe without needle) the runny mixture into him. He may need to be fed every 3 hours.

Be EXTREMELY careful not to expose this puppy to other dogs or anywhere he can pick up a disease......he probably does not have any shots at this age. At six weeks of age he should have a parvo shot.......NO LEPTO. I only give parvo at 6 weeks of age....as the immune system is easily damage.

Also it's important the have a vet check for worms........VERY important. As worms can cause sudden death of young puppies.

Oh! keep puppy warm......get a mens tube sock.....put 1 cup of uncooedk rice in....tie knot.....then warm in microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.....shake well to get rid of hot spots. Place next to puppy.....if he's cold he will climb onto the sock.....if he gets too warm....he will move away. Do not handle puppy much......let him sleep if he's comfortable......puppy NEEDS sleep and a full tummy.....that is all for now. Get a small box oh 12 X 12 or such....put in soft bedding along with the warm rice sock.

Sounds like she is going to be a daddy's girl. Mollie is. Wyatt is a mama's boy. Just like our son Ethan.

Amanda, That sounds so good! I really had to laugh about Tucker. He loves his mommy so much! And your hubby as well! They'll both have him wrapped around their little paws in no time at all.
