| If I catch Miss Gracie chewing something she is not supposed to or perhaps chasing the cat she is not supposed to harass I give her the sharp "No! No!" or "No! Stop that! You know better than that!" She looks up at me with a questioning look on her face while she turns her head from side to side like, "What? You mean me?! What? Are you meaning I did something wrong?" It stops me in mid breath each time. She is so alarmingly innocent in her look and her attitude that I retreat in shame each time. She is the boss. I admit it. |
