| should I get a stroller for traveling? We are going to visit our daughters next weeK!!!!!! I am taking Remy, the girls are more excited about Remy visiting than my visit lol My question is... should I get a stroller? The girls live in down town Chicago and we will be doing a lot of walking and such (we will be there a week). My oldest girl said she would disown me if I got a dog stroller... and I really don't want to spend the money but wondering if I should? Opinions? How do other do with their babies traveling? Thanks!

| My stroller came in very handy when i went away to Cape Cod with Minnie and Tootsie ( before i got Peyton). we did alot of walking that would of been way too much for them and when they were tired , they could cuddle up and go to sleep. when we were eating we found some open air resteraunts that allowed us to take the dogs , we kept them in the stroller . was much easier. but if i only had one dog that didnt weigh alot, maybe just a carrier would be good.

| I just purchased a dog stroller for our trip to New Orleans. I was worried about what people would think until I went to the French Quarter and saw some of the weirdness there. A married couple were dressed up as clowns and the wife was pushing the husband in a shopping cart. They had the nerve to laugh at me pushing a dog stroller. I would never travel again without it.

| I purchased a stroller for the Alexandra meetup. When it arrived, hubby put it together for me and said that if I should not expect him to walk with me whenever I used it. the dogs took right to it and love riding in it. Since then I've used it quite a bit and hubby has been known to walk right next to me. lol Now he's never pushed it and I really don't ever expect him to. lol it does come in handy when you have more than one and/or if you are in a crowd. I would say go for it. It is also nice to have to put stuff in the bottom rack.

| I borrowed my daughter's stroller back in April when Buster had LP surgery. He wound up having two surgeries on the same knee within a month (we are at week five of the second surgery, YAY). It has been a life saver. I get funny looks and some smirks but it's the only way he can really get out of the house. He is used to a walk every night and without the stroller he wouldn't get to go anywhere. When I see people smirking, I make them feel bad when I tell them his story. A lot of people think it's cute and a lot of Yorkie owners have strollers. I'm going to buy a stroller or keep this one as long as I can. They are really handy especially if you are going to do a lot of walking. I wanted to make a sign for the front of the stroller that says "He looks like his father".

| I just want to say if you have an escape artist dog like Allie, don't turn your back for a moment!! I had to get a hook to attach to the zipper pull and hook it to the bar of the stroller because she was able to stick her nose in the small area underneath the zipper and manage to unzip it! We found this our when we were in padre, on a dolphin tour, in the ocean. We found out when we walked 10 steps to the other side of the boat to see said dolphins and suddenly hear a noise and our friend says "I think your dog just jumped in". We turn and look and sure enough, Allie has got out of the stroller and jumped off the side of the boat and is happily swimming out to sea lol. They had to back the boat up and catch her with a fish net!! I thanked them profusely and they laughed and said they've never had to rescue a dog before. (the stroller I have doesn't have a hook in it the way our travel bag does.) I bought her a life jacket the day we got back!

| i got one for when i went to Ft. Worth this past spring. We walked around down at the stockyards and then at a pedestrian mall so it was definitely a lifesaver. The restaurant where we ate and most of the stores at the stockyards and at mall let us bring the dogs if they were in strollers/carriers. The kids would never have made it if they'd had to walk all that time. Plus I didn't have to worry about them getting stepped on and since they were zipped up, no chance of someone doing the "oh what cute doggies" thing, trying to pet them and getting nipped. |

| I've had a stroller for my dogs for years and wouldn't take anything for it! It's very nice when you're in a strange place and want to keep them with you, but safely confined. My stroller has a mesh cover that zips completely closed so the dogs can't get out and no one can walk up and touch them. I got the stroller when my older dog got tired walking before I did and it was a good investment. I wouldn't travel without it. Jeanette |

| I have purchased a stroller for vacation this summer and I own a sling (but it will probably be to hot for that). Better to have and not need than to need and not have. |

| Definately! They are great to have on day-long events and outings. ZoE is a large healthy yorkie but she still gets tired from all the excitement combined with exercise when we are out somewhere for the day.
