I sleep on my side and I have one boy curled up against my back, and one curled up against my chest.

Bentley sleeps right between me and my hubby. He sleeps all night long.

All 6 sleep with us........or should I say, we sleep with them! DH has sleep apnea, so they are all over me. One on my head, 1 between us, 1 under my chin, 1 in the bend of my knees and the other 2 at my feet. My oldest is 71/2 yrs. and it's been that long since I had a full night's sleep, but, I wouldn't have it any other way! Love my babies!

omg, this is too funny, i was just gon ask this question. Ok so i read that crate training is the best, so i got a crate and i fully intended on sticking to that. Then Ziggy came home, and he was the most beautiful little furball! and he would cry in the crate. it broke my heart, and drove my Border Collie crazy. So i brought him in my bed, when he would fall asleep, i'd put him in his crate, then up for potty, fall asleep on my bed, then crate. I did this for a while, then my baby got sick. So i never put him back in the crate.

He never tries to do anything on the bed, he always wants to get down to go potty. And im a light sleeper so im not worried about crushing my little Ziggy bear! BUT, i am worried about him trying to jump off the bed himself and getting hurt. I have never seen any doggy stairs in the pet shops by my house so i dont know what to do. I moght have to build him something. But i cant imagine sleeping without him, and i know both Ziggy and my Border Collie appreciate that!lol

Baxter used to sleep right on top of me, but lately he has gotten into a new routine since he got his own special blanket. He goes and nests into that now for awhile, and at some point during the night he'll sneak on up and lay right on my chest. He's the best alarm clock ever. He wakes me up almost to the minute every morning. Now if I could JUST get him to sleep in on the weekends! Criminy!

Ginger sleeps in this soft sided crate right beside my bed. She likes her own bed and when we say "time for bed" she walks right in and curls up. The bed I have now is different than the one in this picture and it's much higher. We have hard wood floors too so I would be worried she would jump or fall out and get hurt. Works for us!
