omg, this is too funny, i was just gon ask this question. Ok so i read that crate training is the best, so i got a crate and i fully intended on sticking to that. Then Ziggy came home, and he was the most beautiful little furball! and he would cry in the crate. it broke my heart, and drove my Border Collie crazy. So i brought him in my bed, when he would fall asleep, i'd put him in his crate, then up for potty, fall asleep on my bed, then crate. I did this for a while, then my baby got sick. So i never put him back in the crate.
He never tries to do anything on the bed, he always wants to get down to go potty. And im a light sleeper so im not worried about crushing my little Ziggy bear! BUT, i am worried about him trying to jump off the bed himself and getting hurt. I have never seen any doggy stairs in the pet shops by my house so i dont know what to do. I moght have to build him something. But i cant imagine sleeping without him, and i know both Ziggy and my Border Collie appreciate that!lol |
