| My problem is getting Brandi to drink water. We went to the dog park over the weekend. They have water at the dog park and I even took bottled water. You would think after all that running in record heat she would be thirsty but she did not drink any water. I tried pouring it in my hand, a plastic cap....she still wouldn't drink. What I ended up doing was pouring water all over her to keep her cool and she eventually drank a little out of my hand. When we got home though she went straight for her water bowl and lapped it up. Maybe she doesn't like drinking in public....who knows but I have to figure out how to get her to drink more water in public when we are out. |

| I know here in michigan we had couple days of 90 plus degrees and high humidty and Louie was hardly even earing even though he was in the house most of day in air condition. He finally ate after I gave him a bath in late evening. I guess the bath cooled him off. Louie also doesn't drink much water even though it's hot out. I have to give him a water bottle and pour it in my hand or put it in a cup, but he won't touch the water in his bowl, also I put ice cubes in my hand and he will lick that. So yes we have the same problem.

| When it's hot, Teddy will save his meals until after his walks. Smart boy. I know I don't like to eat as much when I'm hot.
