| Like live inside? Or never go out? I consider mine house dogs because they live inside and are never outside unsupervised. However, they go outside to walk, play, see things, relax, etc.

| My pups are indoor doggies but they go out for potty, play and walks as well. I do have pee pads in the house just in case though. However, I met a lady at the vet who NEVER lets her yorkies outside.... they potty in her porch and then she cleans it up.... She has 4. Oh, and they're not allowed to walk on the vet's floor because of the diseases the might catch... So I guess some pups are indoor ONLY all the time! |

| I would hope there aren't a whole lot of yorkies that didn't go outside. Rio and Bullet are NEVER outside unsupervised, but they love to go for walks and play in the dogpark and go to outdoor malls... I couldn't imagine them NOT going out to enjoy the sunshine and the fresh air!

| My babies are indoor dogs, but they go outside for walks, play, and car rides. That would not be too much fun just being inside all day long...

| Yorkies are terriers! It would be a travesty if they NEVER got to go outside. ZoE is pee pad trained and spends most of her time in doors, especially in winter, but she loves going outside & sniffing around and chasing squirrels/birds/blowing dandelion fuzzies. And she needs exercise! Nothing like a good long walk outside

| Sorry if no one likes the idea, but mine do not go outside unless we are holding them. We started it with Gypsy and kept it up when we got our others. We have pee pads for them. They (4) play with each other and rough house and run around in our home. I am not an outdoor person and can not take walks very much due to health issues. When dh is outside mostly he is doing chores outside and can not watch them. They have all been declared healthy by the vet esp the pom who the vet sd was in the best shape she has ever seen a pom in. The only one who is a little overweight is the newest family member who was 15 mos old when we got him and tends to overeat. Before us he was bullied by another dog so that may have something to do with it.

| House Yorkie Sadie was a house puppy his winter. She has the washable pee pads, and that is what she used. We also had a pad in the attached garage. She loves the outside, but she wasn't so eager to go out when it was cold, and I hate the cold. She goes potty outside now again, but we still have the pads out, and she uses them too. It can work. She is 11 months old. |

| Harley doesn't always go outside, cause he's indoor trained. We've lived in apartments since we've had him so he stays in most of the time. We play a lot inside plus our agility classes are in an indoor facility, but now that it's nice out (we live in Canada so our winters and spring are crappy) we've started going out a bit more, it's been pouring rain here a lot though, but as soon as it's nice we're going to do daily walking again. Why do you ask? Let me know if you have any specific questions. If you're considering having a dog that spends a lot of time inside there are a lot of things that need to be done training wise to assure the pup gets enough exercise and doesn't destroy your house of boredom. We had a lot of construction and pitbulls/big untrained dogs in our old apartment building so Harley spent a good 3-4 months inside cause it wasn't safe (hence it being our OLD place) so I'm happy to provide tips on how to keep them occupied properly.

| It's not just about exercise, although that is very important, but dogs need to see new things and experience different things. Imagine never leaving your house even if you ran on a treadmill and stayed thin, you would be bored out of your mind. What about getting some sunshine? My dogs love just laying out in the sun!

YT 500 Club Member | Our Sophie thinks she belongs outdoors. She wants to be out, even when it is very cold. We let her be with us when we are outdoors, and she loves car rides and going for walks. Yes, she is a true terrier. She keeps the perimeter of our home well patrolled (watching from inside).

| Both of my babies are inside. But, go out to potty and walk a bit. It is so hot in Georgia and I hate the heat. So does my babies...
