| i tried the buddy belt and it didnt fit right, was either too big or too small. wetnoseboutique was very nice and have a good return policy. i use a puppia step in, this kind does not bother there neck at all. the over the head puppia can bother the neck more. but i am happy with the step in kind. also for a really pretty harness, i Love the susan Lanci one, the kind that clips, not the velcro kind. they are expensive but gorgeous! i got the kind with the flowers and crystals, forgot then name of the style. its the newest style. so so pretty

| We use the Puppia harness on Chip. We were using a step in harness from petsmart but he was choking himself on it all the time and it would rub blisters under his little leg, so we went ahead and got him the Puppia harness in camo print.

| I always forget about the step in ones that puppia have and group them all together! Thanks for pointing that out.

| I love chattiesmom's. Zoe is tiny and it doesn't overwhelm her little body. She is great to work with on sizing, service, and color choices.

| Jackson's step-ins from chattiesmom and his nylon step in from Petsmart cause occasional gagging if he chooses to pull. His Puppia has never caused him to cough (the regular Puppia).

| Try the harnesses at gangsofnewyorkie.com So well made and worth it. Excellent customer service, too.

| I originally bought Mabel a ferret harness and had it break just when we got to a busy road - she came when I called her but it was really scary. I tried a couple on her when we went to the next town over and they didn't fit her very well so I made hers. It's just a vest with two strong buckles on and is made out of a tweed material. I also made a fleece one for winter - if I can make one, ANY one can make one. |

| Ziva's silk step from Chatties mom is our favorite! She regrew all the hair that had broken off from the "other" kind. It is so light and cool for our hot weather, and looks so simple but chic. I have hand washed it a few times and it still looks new. |

| I went to the fabric store and bought the tweed fabric. I used the old ferret harness as a pattern and made the vest. There's lots of patterns available online too. Now I have a template to make a vest with any material I like. It was fun to make and useful! |

| I use the Choke Free also and loves it! The leather is super soft and double strap very secure. You won't have to worry about your baby breaking free and get injured. |

| I seriously need a step-in harness made out of Kevlar or something completely indestructable! There is not a harness made that Connor cannot chew in two in less that 5 minutes! |

| I have read that the Buddy belt does not fit a lot of dogs. I also like the harness from I see spot and they have a new design http://www.iseespot.com/bNetStore/Te...m5=2&Param11=7
