i love dressing them if they love it. Minnie and Peyton Love clothes. Tootsie , not so much so i only usually make her wear sweaters or coats or sweatshirts when we go out to keep her warm. and she does tolerate it but i can tell she doesnt love it

Who cares what others think... be who you want to be because it makes you happy!!! I have purchased my little Wiley some sweaters because he is losing his coat (shedding/thinning/balding) and he is cold.

Belle has a few t-shirts and a winter coat. She tolerated her coat pretty well, but she does NOT like the t-shirts. She bites at them and always manages to get one of her legs out of the sleeves. I would love to dress her up on special occasions but that would be for me, not for her. I choose not to torture her for my amusement

Oliver wears sweaters and t-shirts and doesn't seem to mind. They do a number on his coat though, so he doesn't wear them very often.

I don't thin it's cruel, but ya it should be done in the right way without harming the pets or dogs. I have seen many people who puts clothes to their dogs especially in the winter season to protect them from a severe cold. After all they are yours responsibility and you have to save them from unusual pain or the disease. But some people use this act for just the decorative purpose to show others that such pets can look like "gorgeous". So it's ok, no harm in that, but do take care of them. Cheers

No it is not cruel. My boys wear shirts when it is cold, and for pictures. The rest of the time it is fur only. My girls wear coats and shirts when it is cold. Dresses for pics and Holidays. Gracie sleeps in PJs because she shivers. Running around the house it is cute bow and ID collar mostly.

Gabby wears clothes all the time unless it's too hot out! If she doesn't have a dress/shirt on & wants one she'll go to her clothes basket and pick one out her self, then bring it to someone to put it on her!

I dress Rosie all the time. I think she has more outfits than I do! My mom used to give me a hard time about it. However, this is the same lady that bought Rosie her 4th of July dress! I think she is coming around! I don't care what people say to me about dressing her. I will do it if I want to!!

I "ebay" a lot of my dogs clothes, I don't buy used & have some trusted sellers that I prefer. If I get clothes that don't have tags but still say "new" I just make sure to wash them first. I have spent hours on ebay looking at dog clothes & a lot of times you can get them shipped for free!
