Don't second guess yourself or let others rain on your parade. Name your new furdaughter what suits her and pleases you.

Disclaimer: This advice comes from someone who has named furkids Chattie, Chizzie, Howard, Hattie, Effie, Fern and Tealie and Lollipop. I pride myself in choosing names that fits the kid that will wear it and is also unusual.

I agree with most everyone and feel you should name her what you want!!

Since you asked i will throw this one at you!....Brynn...i just found it on a name your small girl dog site and think its very pretty! Good luck!! She truly is adorable!!

I love Bambi!! such a cute name! And if you think people give YOU funny looks, I named my dog Totoro, half the people can't even pronounce it lol

I love the name Bambi...When people ask Marley's name sometimes they will be like, "oh- it's a boy?" >.> I realized when I picked the name out that some people might think that because the name is unisex- or in some people's minds, a boy name. But I didn't care!

What I am trying to say is- go with what YOU like. Names have a habit of growing on people, anyways. :P

We have a Marlee, too. But we call her Marlee Grace! =)

I think Bambi is perfect and goes so well with your other pets names!(important when you need to call them!) My son named Ziva and it just fit so well we couldn't consider anything else.

Babe is also the name of a pig isn't it?? I guess to spell it correctly if you wanted it to sound French, you would have to spell it Bebe?...Let's go back to the original premise....YOU should call her whatever YOU want...although I do love playing naming games!! Where were you guys before I got my girls??? Oh yeah, I hadn't found you yet! Next time, I'm coming here for naming help!

This thread is exactly why I love y'all!!!!! You get me and understand how hurtful it was for me when my "friend" reacted like that. I was rather shocked and hurt by her reaction. She's in the middle of a divorce because she cheated on her dh so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...but it still hurt. I have loved the name Bambi and love Bambina too, so I think I'll stick with it

I really appreciate all the kind words of support and names and links to names that were offered to help me! Ahhhh if only we all lived together on a yorkie island LOL Thank you all so very much!!!!!

I wouldn't change it because I love that name and it is totally unique. People frown upon the name I chose for my female yorkie Aja (pronounced Asia) but I don't care. I like the name and it fits her. Plus, she knows her name and responds very well to it

Our dog's name is Dinky. It's kind of a dumb name! Still, it's who he is. I think if she's Bambi, she's Bambi.

You know, you get the exact same thing when you go to name your human child. IF you tell people in advance - at least a handful of people are going to hate the name you chose and tell you that they used to know a boy named (insert name here) that picked his nose in school, yada yada yada.

I love the name Bambi.
