I never take Calleigh off her leash. Every since I saw a hawk stalking her I'm very careful. I watch the skies even when we are walking around in our yard. I took her to a dog park, but all of the dogs are so big and naturally full of energy. I get a little nervous, especially when the larger dogs get into it. We haven't been back there. I'd rather not take a chance.

I'm not at all comfortable with Roxy being off leash at all. What I have done though is to tie her 6' & a 15' leash together. She acts like she thinks she's free and has a great time. However, I know if some critter caught her eye, she'd be off like a shot even though she tends to follow us everywhere. Sometimes the urge to hunt is over powering.
